HvanA is a platform dedicated to providing valuable content for students, employees and alumni of the Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HvA). They provide information about studying, work, social issues, and more, with the aim of informing and inspiring students and the broader HvA network. This makes HvanA an important resource for sharing knowledge and experiences.

The challenge
The challenge was to convert the existing Laravel site to a user-friendly WordPress site using the Avada Builder. The goal was to create a modern look and feel that enhanced the functionality of the old site, but without losing the familiar design. In addition, the site needed to be faster, more reliable and visually appealing to HvanA’s various audiences.
Our approach
We started by adopting the existing design of HvanA’s corporate identity, with some refinements to make it more visually appealing. Moving to WordPress with the Avada Builder provided more flexibility and ease of use. We simplified the navigation, optimized the mobile user experience, and ensured that the technical performance of the site improved. We also paid attention to website speed, which is crucial for both user experience and search engine optimization.
The result
The result is an improved website that loads quickly, is easily navigable and provides visitors with an enjoyable experience. The move to WordPress not only increased flexibility, but also provided more user-friendly content management. HvanA now has a platform that not only conveys information well, but is also visually appealing and performs well technically. We are proud of the result and look forward to further cooperation with HvanA in the future.
